Heather Murray
Heather Murray began her insurance career in 2012 with certain events that transpired in her life that she believes led her to her current position, as partner at Forman and Murray Insurance Agency, Inc.
Heather grew up in Cortlandt Manor and moved to the Lagrangeville area 30 years ago where she raised her three sons. During the time when her children were growing up, she worked as a legal assistant for several years for a Workers Compensation/ Personal Injury attorney in Highland, NY. That is when she started to see the importance of having proper insurance coverage.
Heather was also involved in auto sales for a short brief period. It was at that time that she was involved in a serious car accident in which she sustained substantial injuries and left her out of work for some time and that is when she decided to make a career change.
She then became personal lines licensed and started working for Allstate. After working for Allstate, she realized she wanted to open her own independent agency and formed The Murray Agency, Inc. in 2016. After getting individually appointed by several companies and requiring a small book, she knew then it was time for growth.
On September 29, 2023, she then partnered her agency with John Forman, and the agency is now Forman and Murray Insurance Agency, Inc.
Heather realizes that everyone is different, and everyone has different life situations, and welcomes the opportunity to meet with you to see what they may be and make sure you are covered properly at a cost that is reasonable for you. She always wants what is in the best interests of her clients as she truly understands the importance.
Outside of work, Heather enjoys spending time with friends and family, and is a nature lover.
